The study describes the analytical opportunities to characterize solid solutions by means of differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffraction and 13C solid state NMR. The latter technique proved that poorly soluble itraconazole could be successfully dissolved within a polyvinyl caprolactam-polyvinyl acetate-polyethylene glycol graft copolymer.
