Key factors affecting long-term stability of nanosuspensions were defined, which made it possible to simplify and to accelerate the formulation design ofpoorly water-soluble drugs. Application of Elan's® NanoCrystal technology enabled improvement of oralbioavailability of BCS class II and IV compounds. Recently implemented analytical methods as TEM, DSC and ITC provided new information on diverse properties of drug nanoformulations.
