Characterization of alginate nanoparticles prepared by spraying and emulsification methods for oral delivery of insulin

Insulin-loaded alginate nanoparticles were prepared by spraying and emulsification techniques and effects of these methods on nanoparticles properties such as morphology, encapsulation efficiency and in vitro release of insulin under simulated gastrointestinal conditions were investigated and compared.
