The brain transgene expression of 12 scAAVEGFP vectors of different serotypes, or natural variants after intravenous injection was systematically evaluated. Some members of the rAAVs family showed robust and stable transgene expression ability in different cell types in a number of regions in the brain, even stronger than rAAV9.
