A score test for overdispersion in Binomial model

摘要

In order to fit the proportion data, Beta-Binomial distribution is considered to be the alternative model to the more common Binomial distribution. In this paper we discuss the overdispersion test in Binomial model against the Beta-Binomial model. Score test method is proposed and simulation study is given to test the method effectiveness.
