An image segmentation method based on fuzzy C-means (FCM) and wavelet transform is analyzed in this paper, and first extract the texture features combined in space domain and frequency domain with the charac'teristic of the wavelet transform, and then segment the image by FCM algorithm. And the experimental results show the method has high efficiency and robustness of the image segmentation.
