Nowadays, white carbon black was mainly used in the industry of rubber, plastics, resin and paint in the world. White carbon black has good performance and can be used in papermaking. The abrasion resistant, printing and glossiness of paper can be enhanced with white carbon black. In this article, the preparation of white carbon black was introduced. The effect of modulus of soluble glass and temperature on white carbon black performance was investigated. The effect of white carbon black on paper performance was also emphasized. The results showed that the structure degree of white carbon black became bigger with the increasing of modulus of soluble glass. The modulus of soluble glass chooses 3.5 in this experiment. With the increasing of compound temperature of white carbon black, the tensile of index of paper with white carbon black improved first and then declined. The value of tensile of index was biggest when compound temperature of white carbon black was 80 . The °C whiteness, loose depth and opacity of paper were increased straightly with white carbon black. With the increasing of the content of white carbon black, the tensile of index of paper improved first and then declined. The tensile of index was bigger when the content of white carbon black was 2%.
