Evaluation on Growth of IT Companies Listed on GEM

摘要

Practitioners and other stakeholders are very interested in how to evaluate the growth of a growing business, especially a Hi-tech company. Thus, in this paper, a relevant empirical study has been conducted in this field. Employing entropy concept and method, from aspects of solvency, operation capability, profitability, development capability and comprehensive competence, we have established a set of index system to evaluate the growth of listed IT companies in China, through which we find that R&D capability, management efficiency and profitability are the crucial factors affecting the growth of target companies.
