A Nonlinear PID control method (NLPID) is proposed for the Vehicle on-the-move (VotM) satellite communication antenna stabilization. It is based on the Nonlinear Tracking Differentiator (NLTD), which sets a suitable transition profile for control process and obtains the derivative of outputs tracking signal. A simulation b used to provide its superiority over the traditional PID method. The results show the effectiveness of the proposed stabilization controller in enhancing the robustness and the disturbance adaptability to the perturbation of antenna system parameters.
