This paper analyzes the necessity of reform the loom's mechanical let-off and take-up system firstly, gives an overall program on change SAURER400 Loom's let-off and take-up system from mechanical to electronic, proposed the hardware and software design of electronic let-off and take-up control system based on ADuC824. Make ADuC824 as control center, supplement by isolation circuits and other peripheral circuits, this system has simpler circuits, higher precision, smaller error than the 8051 control system; the software adopt modular design, thinking clear. The control system has been gone through test on the spot, the system can work regularly, and the warp tension kept stability, can met the requirements of design. The tension chart that measured by experiment shows: the tension fluctuations of ADuC'824 electronic let-off and take-up control system is smaller than 8051 control system.
