Human Resources Management Issues under New Labor Contract Law of P. R. China

摘要

The implementation of Labor Contract Law has brought new challenges to enterprises' Human Resources (HR) management. This article is organized as follows. First, we present a brief overview of the main changes of the Labor Contract Law compared with the old law from five aspects. Next, we analyze the impacts of the Labor Contract Law to enterprises in three terms. Finally, we discuss the countermeasures of HR management which enterprises may take. Chinese enterprises should regard the new law as an opportunity rather than a risk to improve their HR management to a higher level.
