In order to reform the lack of practical hands-on experiments about MCU in the experiment box,established a comprehensive experiment with digital display timer which is independent of MCU experiment box. Required to complete functions such as entity fabrication,set the countdown time by means of the key,the real-time countdown time,fixed time,output control signals can be displayed by nixie tube. It uses PROTEUS to simulate and debug the software and hardware,which reduced the debugging time and trouble of replacing the hardware. The simulation and debugging circuit and part of the procedures were given. Through the entity installation,welding,testing,can help students understanding all the development process of MCU products,arouse the students' interest in learning,and enhance the ability of analyzing and solving problems. This article introduces the popularization and application situation of lighting timer controller on the basis of comprehensive experiment
