摘要

On the base of the unique advantages of applying FMECA in improving the reliability of product, using the principle of FMECA, this article analysis sorts of possible failure modes of double-suction pump and the influence extent on pump, also puts forward to the corresponding improving measures. Then it takes 500SM35 type centrifugal pump as an example, making the trial and test of the product, according to the analysis results of FMECA, and finds that the efficiency and cavitations performance of doublesuction pump and other relative indexes have been improved, which are better than expected when the pump's reliability also can be ensured, and this provides the reference for the reliability design of double-suction pump.
