Literature results indicate that the way in which the polymer poly[2-methoxy-5-(2'-ethylhexyloxy)-1,4-phenylene vinylene] (MEH-PPV) interacts with common organic solvents varies, and as aresult there are morphological differences between each film. The MEH-PPV films cast from thesedifferent solvents were studied using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) to observe the possible correlation betweenmorphology and thermal properties.
