A possibility of creating a gyro stabilization system for an air-sea gravimeter with medium-accuracy fiber-optic gyroscopes is studied. A breadboard of a gravimeter gyrostabilizer has been made and tested in the laboratory. In these tests, the fiber-optic gyroscopes mounted on the inner ring of the gyrostabilizer were used to calculate the residual dynamic stabilization errors caused by disturbances of the gearless servo system at rocking. The calculated accuracy was evaluated with the use of autocollimation measurements and the data from floated integrating gyroscopes included in the servo system loop. A mathematical model of the gyro stabilization system with fiber-optic gyroscopes is considered. The results of the simulation of stabilization errors and bench tests of the gyrostabilizer breadboard are discussed. The expected stabilization accuracy is estimated and recommendations are given for selecting the parameters of the accelerometer correction loop of the gyro vertical.
