AN EMPIRICAL STUDY OF PHYSICIANS' ACCEPTANCE OF HOSPITAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN TAIWAN

摘要

The purpose of this study is to propose an extended technology acceptance model for measuringphysicians’ acceptance of Hospital Information Systems (HIS). Totally, 81 valid questionnaires werecollected and the PLS results indicated that the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use amongphysicians significantly affects their acceptance of HIS. Furthermore, system quality and informationquality have significant influence on the perceived ease of use of HIS, while information quality andservice quality significantly influence the perceived usefulness of HIS.
