The linkage analysis among the cultural and creative industries

The Executive Yuan of Taiwan incorporated the development of the Cultural Creative Industries into its national development plan in 2002 called "Challenge 2008: National Key Development Plan." Since the funding poured into this plan each year is enormous and the performance evaluation becomes crucial. From the perspective of industrial linkage, any form of industrial development produces both direct and indirect effects. This study results found that the cultural and creative industries to invest on the part of the service industry sector of the most influence. Based on the industry''s linkage effect, the craft sector looks quite promising. We recommend that the government prioritize the craft sector in future investments into the CC industry.
