摘要

Government equations of the filling stage of GasAssisted Co-Injection Molding in the thin cavity and gas channel were set up separately with the incompressible Leonov constitutive equation. Control-volume/finite-element method was used to solve the governing equation. The result was served as input for the residual stress calculation. Different methods were adopted to tracking the advancements of different moving fronts during filling stage. Then numerical simulation code for the filling stage was developed. A verification has been carried out and the results were reasonable. It shown that the mathematical models of Gas-Assisted Co-Injection Molding and the numerical methods were valid.
