Thinking of the Future Attribute of Chinese Characters Under the Condition of New Media Technology

摘要

This paper attempts to draw attention to the reconsideration of design methods Chinese characters from a historical perspective by comparing several actual cases, and proposes that properties of Chinese character, under the condition of new media technology, should include its material, three-dimensional display, color and light, the way of movement, change of sound and compatibility with the environment besides form. This paper also explores the design method of Chinese characters—providing a more diverse experience to audience by design cases.
