Polyamide12 (PA12) and PA12ano-SiO2(n-SiO2) composite coatings were prepared by a flame spray process. The crystallization and melting behaviors of Polyamide12 and PA12-SiO2 composite coatings were investigated by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The experimental results showed that the crystallization temperature and the degree of crystallization for PA12-SiO2 composites increased and the degree of supercooling decreased due to the heterogeneous nucleation of nano-SiO2 particles compared with pure PA12 coating.
