摘要

The paper developed a new method called hybrid method to the statically indeterminate problems for the mechanics of materials;witch can be used to determine all the internal forces,deformations and reactions related to statically indeterminate problems at same time.There are three kinds of equations in the new method,such as equilibrium equations,deformation equations and the compatibility equations.The new method can be used to the problems of both the system of axially loaded bars and beam,no mater whether the problem is statically determinate or statically indeterminate.Based on the method of hybrid,two kinds of methods have been developed,one is the method of displacement and the other is the method of forces,two kinds of methods are similar to those of in theory of elasticity.In the method of displacement the unknown functions are the displacements and the equations for the unknown functions are the equations of equilibrium in terms of displacements.In the method of forces the unknown functions are internal forces of the members and the reactions of the boundaries and the equations for the unknown functions are both the equations of equilibrium and the compatibility equations in term of the forces.The teaching practice have shown that the new method is easy to learn and better than those used in mechanics of materials.
