PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a teaching material for practicing how to write, and a teaching material set for practicing how to write, more easy of use.;SOLUTION: The teaching material for practicing how to write of this invention is used for practicing how to write characters such as 'hiragana' and figures, and is equipped with a thin board 1 provided with character writing parts 11a or 11b on its surface 1a or back face 1b, and two position fixing members 2 and 2 for fixing the thin board 1 at a specified position on a wall face. The position fixing member 2 is formed by laminating a magnet board 22 to be stuck on a wall face, and a substrate board 21 with a larger surface area than the magnet board 22.
