This paper proposes the new concept of "Crosscultural Teleworking Virtual Team" (short for CTV team) and commences the new topic on the study of the CTV team management, aiming at dealing with the fuzzy intension of the relevant concepts of CTV team and solving the lagging situation of CTV team management theory behind its management practice. Based on the extant team management theories and combining them with behavioral science theory and management experiments theory, the paper explores the management problems and management mechanism of CTV teams, and constructs the study framework and management system of CTV team management. The paper analyzes the research background and status quo of CTV team management, and discusses its research contents and research methodology. The study is significant to establish and develop Chinese CTV teams, raise their management competence, speed up their exploitation of international markets, and cultivate new export commodity brands.
