Coordination activities by JICCG for UHV technology standardization

After IEC/SMB (Standardization Management Board) approved to start JICCG (Joint IECCIGRECoordination Group) at the meeting held on October 2007, the first meeting of JICCGwas held on 28th November 2007. The second and the third meeting were held in a year by 8thOctober 2008. For UHV AC standardization, the road map was discussed and reported. In theroad map the standardization process is divided in three steps. The target of 2008 has beenachieved. For UHV DC, a new TC 115, which is responsible for HVDC technology, has beenapproved to start. A work share has been discussed and reported by JICCG. A coordinationmeeting between related TCs is scheduled.
