Water-efficiency as Indicator for Industrial PlantSustainability Assessment

摘要

Water-efficiency indicator is proposed for water management system sustainabilityassessment that can be used as a component of sustainable development indicatorssystem of company’s estimation for reporting on sustainability. Assessment approachbases on water usage and wastewater treatment networks optimization. The systemsapproach for finding the minimum freshwater consumption rate and wastewatertreatment capacity in water usage and treatment systems is used. Mathematical modelsof water usage and water treatment networks components and models of networks as awhole have been worked out.
