The Caco Caco-2 and LLC LLC-PK PK1 cell models werecompared by investigating the apparentabsorptive and ex exsorptive orptive permeabilities (P PAPP APP)of est estrone one-3-sulf sulfate (ES) ate and piceid piceid. In Caco Caco-2cells both ES and picei piceid PAPP APP are dependent oninitial donor concentrations and the e exsorption xsorptionratio ratios (ER) for ES and piceid are respective 7.3and 2.3 2.3. In LLC . LLC-PK PK1 cells both piceid and ESPAPP APP seems to be independent on initial donorconcentration and ER are close to 1 for bothcompounds compounds.
