Development of Novel Biorelevant Dissolution Stress Test Device for Immediate Release Dosage Forms

摘要

A dissolution test device was established to enablethe testing of immediate release (IR) dosage forms inphysiological volumes of liquid (<30 ml) underconditions of biorelevant stress. The novel methodyielded differences in the dissolution characteristics of IRmetoprolol tablets which can not be detected applyingconventional devices.
