Innovation Management: The Mechanism and Paths of Enhancing the International Competitiveness of China’s Equipment Manufacturing Industry through Information Technology

The rise of China manufacturing industry has won the "World Factory" reputation, but the equipment manufacturing industry of China still in the low-end value chain of the global industrial chain. Vigorously promoting the fusion of information technology and industrialization can bring the industry from large to strong. For China, "manufacturing large" to "manufacturing power" points out the direction of development. In this paper, "diamond model" and "value-chain theory" strategy for analysis the source of industry competitive advantage is put forward to clarify the fusion of information technology equipment manufacturing industry, which brings competitive advantage to equipment manufacturing industry competitiveness. The competitiveness of the internal mechanism of the fusion of information technology and industrialization for competitiveness enhancement is analyzed. And the path of the fusion of information technology and industrialization to enhance China equipment manufacturing industry competitiveness is put forward.
