Many researchers found that original process plans are being modified in practice in order to accommodate changesin the shop floor. These modifications are typically carried out by non-professional process planners and eventuallylead to a conflict between scheduling activities and process planning functions. Products going out of dimensioningduring production are a main cause of process planning infeasibility. This paper introduces an integrated model thatsimultaneously serves three purposes: allocating operational tolerances, minimizing products lateness, and figuringoperation-machines assignments. The results demonstrated by an example proved the effectiveness of the proposedapproach.
