Designed for today's polyurethane materials, the Graco EP pour gun is a reliable, high performance, light and versatile gun with replaceable mixhead. Utilizing existing Graco technologies and incorporating customer and market feedback, an innovative new mixhead is achieved. With more power than any pneumatic gun Graco has offered to the market and an actuation speed of a similarly sized hydraulic head, the Graco EP gun delivers better reliability by significantly reducing the sticking of the purge rod, more versatility with wide fluid ratio capabilities, and less weight than Graco's current line of pneumatic pour guns. Updated mixhead technology allows the user to rebuild the mixhead onsite versus sending the equipment back to the manufacturer. No longer will manufacturers need an extra gun always waiting in reserve. A design change that uses needles in the various orifice sizes allows a wide range of flow rates to be attained, while still maintaining a consistent mix without the need for circulation in the head of the gun. In addition, dual piston technology is employed to match the force of a hydraulic gun providing the speed and performance of a hydraulic gun without the need for a power pack. The Graco EP pour gun technology affords a wide range of manufacturers an avenue to compete in their respective markets and makes this mixhead a very unique solution in the polyurethane marketplace.
