Novel Degradable Polyurethane Foams

摘要

Novel polyurethane foams based on polyols containing imine moieties were prepared. The foams can rapidly degrade under acidic conditions. Degradation of the foams was tested and compared using a DMA equipment. It was found that foams based on aromatic polyols degrade faster than foams based on aliphatic polyols. Suggested degradation mechanism is presented.
