The Product Director Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (PD TMDE) current and emerging products enable Condition Based Maintenance (CBM), real-time platform test and diagnostics, vehicle health status data collection and transmission to a designated database for further analysis and prediction. Vehicle behavior in various operational environments, human factors, parts consumption and overall platform reliability are just some of the important data elements that can be monitored. This data, once analyzed and distributed, allows combat commanders and strategic leaders to make operational decisions about their equipment before, during, and after a mission pulse. In addition, this capability will provide acquisition leaders a feedback mechanism to improve performance and reliability of weapon systems.
