摘要

PEO-PLA based bilayer polymersomes were synthesized and characterized for encapsulation of water-soluble siRNA. The efficiency of encapsulation, cell transfection and gene silencing using polymersomes were compared to other lipid-based systems to show the promise of using PEG-based polymersomes as novel long-circulating gene carriers.
