Permeation Barriers to Two Lipophilic Cations in Caco-2 Cell Monolayers

摘要

The permeation behaviours of two triphenylphosphonium cationic compounds were studied in Caco-2 cell monolayers. Results suggest that permeation profiles of these lipophilic cations depend on their intrinsic membrane permeability, transporter affinity and plasma protein binding affinity.
