DNA(GFP plasmid)-loaded liposomes bearing TAT-peptide(TATp) and additionally coated with PEG via the pH-sensitive cleavable hydrazone bond (PEG-Hz-PE) when administered intratumorally, demonstrate good penetration into the tumor cells and dramatically enhanced cell transfection compared to similar constructs with pH-insensitive (non-cleavable) PEG-PE.
