摘要

Subcutaneous tumors were grown in rat hind legs. Doxorubicin was sequestered in the acoustically-active drug carrier Plurogel~(TM) and administered weekly via tail vein injection. Ultrasound was applied to one leg only at 20 kHz or 500 kHz for 15 minutes. The tumors receiving ultrasound grew much less than the contralateral control tumor (p=0.0047).
