LM_4: Enabling autonomous intelligent machines to handle contradictory information

摘要

Ex contradictione quodlibet, the logical principle that anything follows from contradictory premises is a thorn in the side of anyone seeking to develop an autonomous intelligent machine. This paper sets out a system of logic LM_4 which appears to solve the problem for all practical purposes without the difficulties inherent in some other attempted solutions.
