GETTING INSIDE EPROCUREMENT TECHNOLOGIES TO STUDY THEIR USAGE IMPACT ON PROCUREMENT PRACTICES AND PERFORMANCE

摘要

This research studies the impact of eprocurement technology usage on both procurement practices and procurement performance. The researchers differentiate among the eprocurement technologies under study, namely, EDI, FTP, video conferencing, e-markets and internet/reverse auctions. The findings suggest that eprocurement technology usage positively affects procurement practices and procurement performance in different levels among different the eprocurement technologies.
