This study has made an attempt to understand the relationship between organizational culture and its impact on management of a business. A case study has been selected from Sri Lankan Jewellery industry in explaining the relationship between organizational culture and management phenomenon. Depth interview method was primarily used in collecting data. Observation method and informal interview method were also used to cross check data from depth interviews. Schetn's model has been used in understanding the culture of the organization and some important management related factors has been used to understand the management. At the end of the study an attempt has made to compare the organizational culture and management. Results of the study shows that the organizational culture is primarily depend upon the entrepreneur's philosophy since this is an entrepreneurial organization. It is also evident that management practices were also influenced by the culture of the entrepreneur's family. Respect for seniority is found to be the most important cultural value in this organization in determining the nature of its management practices. Security is also an important factor in determining almost all the things in this organization. Finally it was found that management of this organization is a replication of organizational culture based on the entrepreneur's philosophy and his family.
