摘要

With the continuous development of steel processing and distribution business, a reasonable order allocation among processing centers is an important means to save costs and improve the competitiveness for steel enterprises group. Aiming at this goal, a mathematical model was established to allocate orders by taking minimum costs of the enterprises group as the objective. In the model, the factors, such as production costs, transportation costs, orders delay costs etc. Genetic Algorithms was applied to deal with the model. A numerical example was used to verify the feasibility of the proposed approach. The results indicate that the proposed model and the algorithm can obtain satisfactory solutions. Orders allocation will provide effective production planning for the processing centers and help to optimize the steel enterprises group's overall resources and avoid vicious competition between the various processing centers.
