EXTENDED IOWA OPERATOR AND ITS APPLICATION TO GROUP DECISION MAKING WITH LINGUISTIC INFORMATION

For multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) problems in which both the attribute weights and the expert weights take the form of real numbers, attribute values take the form of linguistic variables, by utilizing some operational laws of linguistic variables, a new aggregation operator called extended induced ordered weighted averaging (EIOWA) operator is proposed. Then an EWAA and EIOWA operators-based approach to MAGDM under the linguistic environment is developed. Finally, an illustrative example is given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness.
