FDI Allocation in Convergence and Regional Disequilibrium on Economy Growth - Reviewed from Economy Aggregate Index Number

Since reform and opening of 1978, China's economy has developed very fast. With the development of economy, foreign direct investment in China grows rapidly too. These FDI has made great contribution to China's economy. But the distribution of FDI is unbalance; most FDI agglomerated in coastal in the southeast whose people have higher income. The economic development level difference between the areas of high, middle and low income of our country is magnified day by day too. After comparing the current situation of the agglomeration of FDI and the economic development level difference between the areas, the author find the trend of these two is very similar, then combine the achievement studied in the past, and propose the argument of this thesis, that is: the agglomeration of FDI is an important factor which leads the economic development level difference between the areas in China. This thesis use the relation between the agglomeration of FDI and the economic development level difference as its key thread, and try to answer that whether the agglomeration of FDI extend the economic disequilibria in China or not.
