Characteristics Comparison of SME Board of Directors Between China and Korea

摘要

Because of the difference of specialized regulation and laws background, companies of Korea and China are different in Characteristics of the Board of Directors; meanwhile, for the close position of Asia and the same traditional culture, there exists some common in certain aspects. This article uses empirical research method, quotes the 75 listed Small-Middle enterprises (SME)of China and 191 ones of Korea of 2004 as samples, constructs the models on the relationships between structure of the Board of Directors and their achievement, studies the relationship between the Characteristics of boards and the companies' achievement, including the size of Board, structure of board, leader group and the company achievement by descriptive statistics method, proves the theory of the relationships between the structure of boards and the companies' achievement, assess and test the two relations and give advice for further research and improvement at construction of the Board of Directors in China.
