Coordination Evaluation of Transportation Infrastructure Scale and Socioeconomic Development in City

摘要

With the guidance of coordinated development idea, transportation infrastructures should meet traffic demand and keep their appropriate preferred development. This paper proposes an evaluating system to investigate the coordination of transportation infrastructure scale and socioeconomic growth in cities in China which consists of the evaluation indices, including such aspects as transportation infrastructure scale, traffic demand and the ratios of fixed assets investment in urban transportation to GDP, and the coordination evaluation model between transportation infrastructure scale and traffic demand. Then the paper takes Beijing as an example to validate the indices and the evaluation model. The application shows that the evaluating system is feasible and reliable.
