Annotating Attributions and Private States

摘要

This paper describes extensions to a corpusannotation scheme for the manual annotationof attributions, as well as opinions, emotions,sentiments, speculations, evaluations and otherprivate states in language. It discusses thescheme with respect to the “Pie in the Sky”Check List of Desirable Semantic Informationfor Annotation. We believe that the scheme is agood foundation for adding private state annotationsto other layers of semantic meaning.
