Shared Task: Statistical Machine Translation between European Languages

摘要

The ACL-2005 Workshop on ParallelTexts hosted a shared task onbuilding statistical machine translationsystems for four European languagepairs: French–English, German–English,Spanish–English, and Finnish–English.Eleven groups participated in the event.This paper describes the goals, the taskdefinition and resources, as well as resultsand some analysis.
