Hour of sunshine had been used to estimates the monthly average daily global radiation by Angstrom correlation. Hour of sunshine was calculated by regression method, is used to fit polynomial function of sunshine hour and rainfall. The both data obtained from three meteorological stations in southern Thailand for the period 1971-2000. The generated data for 14 different locations were then used to plot contour maps for monthly average daily solar radiation over southern Thailand. These maps will serves as a much needed reference for designing and performance evaluation of such solar energy system in suothern Thailand.
