AN EXAMINATION OF INSTITUTIONAL AND RESPONDENT CHARACTERISTICSIN EVALUATING PURCHASING AND SUPPLY MANAGEMENT JOURNALS

摘要

This paper examines the effects of individual respondent characteristics and their institutions inevaluating journals that publish research in purchasing and supply management. Further, thepaper reports on the influence of demographic factors on ratings of multiple-item evaluationconstructs developed as part of the current study. The present results concord with earlier studiesthat found considerable consensus across demographic variables for journal evaluation, andextends this finding to conceptual constructs associated with such evaluation.
