This paper examines the effects of individual respondent characteristics and their institutions inevaluating journals that publish research in purchasing and supply management. Further; thepaper reports on the influence of demographic factors on ratings of multiple-item evaluationconstructs developed as part of the current study. The present results concord with earlier studiesthat found considerable consensus across demographic variables for journal evaluation; andextends this finding to conceptual constructs associated with such evaluation.;
