Novel Corrosion Inhibitors for High Temperature Applications

摘要

The paper describes the synthesis and evaluation of a new class of corrosion inhibitors1 designed and synthesized especially to be effective at high temperature situations. These water-soluble chemicals exhibit excellent thermal stability, making them useful for high-temperature applications in deep hot wells and in petrochemical refining processes. The chemistry, thermal stability data, and corrosion inhibitor performance, under sweet and sour conditions, are described.
