The armored vehicle has been a core force of the land army equipment all through the time, also been the important domain of the equipment development. The reliability study of the armored vehicle is a fatally important work. One of its important tasks is the fault recognition. Through explaining the complexity and difficulty of fault recognition for the armored vehicle, this paper analyzes the deficiency that the current fault recognition methods exist, and puts forward the developing directions further.
